Dr Lynn Dever is a practicing pediatrician in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for 35 years. She has had the distinct pleasure of helping thousands of children realize the importance of health and wellness from birth through college. She is well loved by so many families and has been awarded the highest patient satisfaction award in her health system (the AEDIT award).
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is dual board certified in Pediatrics and Integrative Medicine. She graduated from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
She was honored to be one of only 8 founding members of the Manna Institute where their mission is Food is Medicine. The institute explores the impact of nutrition on health for people with serious illnesses. They lead research and evaluation initiatives, educate healthcare practitioners and consumers and share findings and best practices for improved service delivery and healthcare transformation.
Dr Dever was a presenter on Obesity to Pediatricians for the Academy of Pediatrics, Pennsylvania chapter for several years.
Dr Dever walks her talk and is an avid athlete having run the NY marathon, many half marathons and triathlons. She has trained with many high school, college and professional athletes through the years and recently climbed Mt Kilimanjaro.
She has been chosen by her peers as Philadelphia Magazine’s 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 TOP DOCS in Pediatrics and Integrative Medicine! Bringing Eastern and Western medicine together for children and their families as well as treating the whole person not just the disease is her highest passion and mission. Her desire is to teach children how to live their best lives so that we no longer have a country overwhelmed with lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
She has been on the boards of the American Red Cross, Manna Advisory Board and DSI. She serves on many committees such as The Franklin Institute and The American Revolution Museum. She has been featured in More magazine and Philadelphia Style Magazine.
Dr Dever has been married to her best friend for 40 years, mother of 2 very accomplished children (both Division 1 athletes) and grandmother to 5 grandchildren.
